Descrição:Sildenafil-d3 is a drug that inhibits the phosphodiesterase type-5 enzyme, which is responsible for degrading cGMP. It has been shown to be effective in wastewater treatment, where it can be used to reduce the concentration of cGMP in water. Sildenafil-d3 also reduces the amount of phosphodiesterase type-5 in wastewater and as a result, increase the production of cGMP. This drug is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension. Sildenafil-d3 has been shown to have no effects on healthy animals or humans with normal levels of PDE5 when administered orally at doses up to 100mg/kg/day for 2 years.
