2-Propinyl-triphenylphosphonium bromide is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of quaternary ammonium salts. It contains a pyrazole derivative and has been shown to be an effective control agent for the preparation of coatings with a low viscosity. 2-Propinyl-triphenylphosphonium bromide can also be used for the production of high quality coatings, as it exhibits synergistic interactions with hydrogen fluoride. This chemical compound is produced by the bacteria Sorangium cellulosum and has been shown to have nanomolar concentrations of nitrogen atoms.
