Chloromethyl)dimethoxy(methyl)silane is a silicone with the chemical formula (CH3)2SiO[Si(CH3)2O]2. It is a single-crystal x-ray diffraction and flow rate. Chloromethyl)dimethoxy(methyl)silane has been shown to be useful in silicon architectures, such as coatings and adhesives. This compound is also used as a cross-linker for polyols, which are found in paints and other coatings. It can be degraded by UV radiation or by heat, but it will not react with water or organic solvents.
