Informação sobre produto
- Pyridine, 2,3,6-tribromo-
2,3,6-Tribromopyridine is a reactive chemical compound with the formula CHBrCl. It reacts with nucleophiles to form products that are useful in organic synthesis. The compound has been used as a biomolecule in cross-coupling reactions and is able to react with amines, n-oxides and alkoxides. 2,3,6-Tribromopyridine is also able to undergo halogenation reactions and can be protonated by phosphorus pentachloride to form an electrophilic species that can react with piperidine or methylamine. Cross-coupling reactions between 2,3,6-Tribromopyridine and alkenes have been shown experimentally. The reaction product of this coupling isomerizes to give 1H-benzotriazole (1).
