Naproxenal is an analog of indirubin, a natural compound that has been shown to have anticancer properties. Naproxenal is a potent inhibitor of protein kinases and has been found to induce apoptosis in cancer cells. It has been tested in human urine and tumor samples and has shown promising results as an anticancer agent. Naproxenal inhibits the activity of several kinases, including cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK-3β), and casein kinase 1α (CK1α). These kinases play important roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Naproxenal also inhibits the activity of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and protein kinase C (PKC), which are involved in signal transduction pathways that regulate cell growth and survival. In addition, Naproxenal has been tested in Chinese hamster ovary cells and has demonstrated significant antitumor
