Informação sobre produto
N-Benzyl-4-nitrobenzenesulfonamide is an enantioselective, asymmetric synthesis of chiral, tertiary amine catalysts. The catalyst was prepared by the reaction of 4-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride with N-benzylpiperidine in the presence of a Lewis acid (e.g., aluminum trichloride) to give the corresponding sulfonamide. This compound is used for the amidation of different types of carboxylic acids and benzyl chlorides to give chiral amides. The amidation can be carried out in one pot without isolation or purification of intermediates. The reaction is highly enantioselective, leading to high yields and ee's.
