Informação sobre produto
tert-Butyl (3S,4S)-4-methylpyrrolidin-3-ylcarbamate is a target compound that can be synthesized in four steps from benzylamine and l-aspartic acid. The reaction starts with the aluminum hydride reduction of benzylamine to give 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde. This is then converted to 3,4-dimethoxybenzyl alcohol by mesylation and hydrogenolysis. The next step is the methylation of this alcohol with lithium aluminum hydride to produce 3,4-dimethoxypyrrolidine. Finally, the tert-butyl ester of the pyrrolidine is made by reacting it with di-tert butyl dicarbonate and dimethyl dicarbonate.
