Poly[(15:0) PC] is a matrix material that can be used for the preparation of diagnostic agents. This material has been shown to bind to the receptor specific antibody, which may be useful in diagnosing cancer or other diseases. The biocompatible polymer has been shown to have phase transition temperature of 50°C and an acyl chain length of 15 carbon atoms. Poly[(15:0) PC] can also be used as a carrier for diagnostic agents, such as those used in bacterial vaginosis or fatty acid detection.br>br>
