Informação sobre produto
Sodium 4-nitrobenzoate is an organic compound with the chemical formula CHNO. It is a white solid that is soluble in water. This substance has been shown to inhibit the germination of seeds and the growth of plant tissue culture. It also inhibits hydrogen bonding interactions, which may be due to its ability to form cations through hydroxide ion or protonation. When dissolved in water, sodium 4-nitrobenzoate yields sodium ions, hydroxide ions, and nitrate ions. The deuterium isotope effect on this substance has not been studied extensively as yet.
