3-(2-Phenylethyl)-2-sulfanylidene-1,3-thiazolidin-4-one is a new compound that can be used as an antiemetastatic agent. This drug inhibits the growth of tumor cells by blocking the cell cycle and inducing apoptosis. It also has antiproliferative and antiangiogenic effects. 3-(2-Phenylethyl)-2-sulfanylidene-1,3-thiazolidin-4-one is stable in vivo and has no side effects, which makes it suitable for use in humans.
