Informação sobre produto
5-[2,4-Dihydroxy-6-(4-nitrophenoxy)phenyl]-N-(1-methyl-4-piperidinyl)-3-isoxazolecarboxamide (JNJ-635) is a small molecule inhibitor of the endocannabinoid metabolism. It prevents the degradation of anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2AG). JNJ-635 has been shown to have antiinflammatory properties in vitro and in vivo, as well as anticonvulsant effects in mice. In addition, JNJ-635 has demonstrated neuroprotective effects in models of Alzheimer's disease and nonconvulsive seizures. These effects are mediated by the inhibition of microglial activation, which leads to reduced production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL1β.
