Informação sobre produto
1,6-Naphthyridine-5-carbonitrile is a chemical compound that contains a naphthyridine ring and a carbonitrile functional group. The compound has been shown to be effective in the synthesis of benzaldehyde derivatives. 1,6-Naphthyridine-5-carbonitrile is synthesized by the alkaline hydrolysis of 2-chloro-1,6-naphthyridine using phenylmagnesium bromide as the catalyst. This reaction can also be catalyzed with methylmagnesium chloride or Grignard reagent. The hydrolysis of 1,6-Naphthyridine-5-carbonitrile can be achieved with acid or base catalysts such as chloride or methanol respectively.
