MT-DADMe-ImmA is a cytotoxic agent that inhibits the activity of acetylcholine esterase and butyrylcholinesterase, which are enzymes that hydrolyze acetylcholine and butyrylcholine. MT-DADMe-ImmA has minimal toxicity in mice and no evidence of carcinogenicity. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor xenografts in mice, with a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of 8 mg/kg. The binding of MT-DADMe-ImmA to target enzymes was assessed by titration calorimetry and X-ray crystallography. The inhibition constant (Ki) for MT-DADMe-ImmA against acetylcholinesterase was found to be 0.8 nM, while the Ki for butyrylcholinesterase was found to be 2 nM.
