Informação sobre produto
5-(1,1-Dimethylethyl) 1-methyl L-glutamate is a chemical compound which is a non-essential amino acid. It is naturally found in the body and can be synthesized by the enzyme glutamate dehydrogenase. 5-(1,1-Dimethylethyl) 1-methyl L-glutamate has been shown to inhibit transcriptional regulation in bacteria. This inhibition may be due to its ability to bind to the dinucleotide phosphate of RNA polymerase at high concentrations, preventing the formation of an active complex with RNA polymerase. 5-(1,1-Dimethylethyl) 1-methyl L-glutamate also inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting enzymatic reactions involving lysine and lysine ester hydrochloride. The drug has been shown to interact with several drugs that are metabolized through oxidation or hydroxylation reactions.
