Descrição:N1-(Furan-2-ylmethyl)-N2-(naphthalen-1-yl)oxalamide is a drug that has been shown to have genotoxic and biochemical properties. It inhibits the activity of enzymes such as 3-deoxy-delta-D-arabinoheptulosonate 7 phosphate synthase, which is involved in the synthesis of heme, and ornithine carbamoyltransferase, which is involved in the urea cycle. N1-(Furan-2-ylmethyl)-N2-(naphthalen-1-yl)oxalamide also has an inhibitory effect on the activity of other enzymes such as cytochrome P450 reductase, which catalyzes reactions in the metabolism of xenobiotics. This drug has been shown to be a potential antihistamine agent that exhibits little or no allergic symptoms.
