Fosnetupitant is a ligand at the NK1 receptor, which is a member of the neurotransmitter family of ion channels. Fosnetupitant acts as an activator of the NK1 receptor and has been shown to inhibit the activity of protein kinase A in cells. Fosnetupitant also binds to calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptors and has been shown to be a high-affinity inhibitor of CGRP receptor activation. Fosnetupitant can be used as research tool for pharmacology, protein interactions, and cell biology studies.
