Informação sobre produto
Tert-Butyl N-[1-(4-chloro-2-formylphenyl)-3-piperidinyl]carbamate is a new class of highly selective, potent and irreversible inhibitor of the enzyme group p2 (serine/threonine protein phosphatases) that is used as an analytical tool to study the structural biology of proteins. Tert-Butyl N-[1-(4-chloro-2-formylphenyl)-3-piperidinyl]carbamate binds reversibly to serine or threonine residues in a protein and inhibits the activity of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). This inhibition leads to neuronal death and cell death by apoptosis. Tert-Butyl N-[1-(4-chloro-2-formylphenyl)-3-piperidinyl]carbamate can be used as a potential biomarker for disease progression in patients with Parkinson's disease.
