Informação sobre produto
- phosphonic dichloride, P-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-
Tert-Butylphosphonic dichloride (TBPD) is a reactive, chiral, kinetic and insensitive chemical. It is a chlorinating agent that reacts with alkenes to produce alkyl chlorides. TBPD can be used as an intermediate for the production of other chemicals, such as vinyl ethers.
Tert-Butylphosphonic dichloride can be detected by its characteristic frequencies in the infrared spectrum or by its chloride ion. The hydrolysis of TBPD produces acidic products at high temperatures and at lower pH levels; however, it does not show any reaction at room temperature.
