Methylxylenol Blue is an indicator dye that is used to measure the pH of urine samples. Methylxylenol Blue has been shown to be a useful indicator for detection of iron binding in tissue culture, as well as being a valuable tool for the measurement of camp levels in biological samples. It has also been used as a marker for body formation and atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases. In addition, it has been shown to be a growth factor that can stimulate glomerular filtration rate and hydrochloric acid production. Methylxylenol Blue is also able to complex with fatty acids and hydroxyl groups.
