Benzyl 6-Bromohexyl Ether is a fatty acid that is found in the stomachs of animals and in human brains. It is also used as an anti-inflammatory drug, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the biosynthesis of serotonin and other neurotransmitters. The optical isomer of this drug has been shown to increase gastric tone, while the erythro form has been shown to have a cardiotoxic effect.
