Descrição:mPEG5-Br is a water soluble polymer that has a number of applications in the fields of chemistry, medicine and engineering. It is also known as poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(2-bromo-2-methylpropane) and is often used to create crosslinked polymers. The chemical structure of mPEG5-Br consists of a hydrophilic poly(ethylene glycol) block and a hydrophobic poly(2-bromo-2-methylpropane). This polymer can be used for complexing or chelating metal ions or for transferring atoms from one molecule to another.
