Descrição:1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-2-methyl-1H-1,3-benzodiazole-5-carboxylic acid is an antiinflammatory drug that belongs to the class of methyl esters. It has been shown to have a spectrum of activity against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, including human leukemia and lymphoma cells. 1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-2-methyl-1H-1,3-benzodiazole-5-carboxylic acid has also been shown to inhibit the growth of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Clostridium perfringens. The chemical composition of 1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-2-methyl-1H-1,3 benzodiazole 5 carboxylic acid is not yet known.
