Descrição:AZ084 is a ccr5 receptor antagonist that inhibits chemokine-induced migration of T cells and microglia. AZ084 has been shown to inhibit the activation of TNF-α, which is a proinflammatory cytokine that regulates inflammation and immunity in the body. AZ084 also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to attenuate the production of other inflammatory molecules such as IL-1β and IL-6. It also has potent inhibition of HIV infection when administered orally in animal models. This compound is an amide with a molecular weight of 337.2 g/mol and can be used for the treatment of AIDS.
