TAK-828F is a monoclonal antibody that targets IL-17A. IL-17A is an inflammatory cytokine that has been shown to play a role in the development of autoimmune diseases and bowel disease. TAK-828F binds to IL-17A with high affinity and specificity, inhibiting its inflammatory effects on the immune system. TAK-828F was studied in clinical trials for use in the treatment of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and psoriasis. The drug was successful in treating Crohn's disease and psoriasis but not ulcerative colitis. TAK-828F is currently being developed for use as a treatment for inflammatory bowel disease and other autoimmune diseases.
