2-Aminoimidazole sulfate is a chemical compound that is used as a transfection reagent. It has been shown to have high transfection efficiency with low cytotoxicity. The diameter of the molecule is in the range of 2 - 3 nm, which allows it to be taken up by cells and thus be active in them.
