In addition, H-Arg-Phe-Asp-Ser-OH is an important molecule for the production of monoclonal antibodies. H-Arg-Phe-Asp-Ser-OH is expressed in mammalian cells, including human cells, which are used as models to study the molecular interactions with HIV1 and IGF2. Monoclonal antibodies against H-Arg-Phe-Asp have been shown to inhibit the replication of HIV1.
