4-Amino-N'-hydroxy-1,2,5-oxadiazole-3-carboximidamide (4AOD) is an organic compound that is used as a monomer in the production of polyurethane. The thermodynamic properties of 4AOD are shown by the exothermic reaction and activation energy. This chemical has a high solubility in organic solvents and can be synthesized at temperatures between 3˚C and 60˚C. It is soluble in water but not in ethanol or ether.
