N-Allyl-2-benzoylhydrazinecarbothioamide is an organic compound with the molecular formula of C4H9N3O2. This molecule consists of a benzene ring and a carboxylic acid group, which are connected by a double bond. N-Allyl-2-benzoylhydrazinecarbothioamide has been shown to form tetranuclear complexes with copper(II) and chloride ions. The crystal x-ray diffraction pattern shows that this molecule has a trigonal symmetry with apical geometry. The vibrational analysis indicates that the molecule interacts with water molecules in acetonitrile solutions at room temperature. The nature of the interaction is unknown, but it may be due to hydrogen bonding or electrostatic interactions.
