The drug interacts with fatty alcohols, growth factors, and other polymeric materials to form homogeneous catalysts. 4-Amino-6,7-dimethoxyquinoline can be used in clinical studies to measure the concentration of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and fatty acids in epidermis cells.
