Acid Blue 29 is a glycol ether that can be used as a catalyst in the process of wastewater treatment. It has been shown to have good chemical stability and solid-state properties, which makes it suitable for use in industrial processes. Acid Blue 29 has been shown to cause a phase transition at relatively low temperatures, which can be used in the process of wastewater treatment. This compound also has cationic surfactant properties, and is very acidic (pH=1). This acidity can be activated if required by adding an acid, such as caproic acid. The detergent compositions with Acid Blue 29 have been shown to have better cleaning and foaming effects than those without the compound. In addition, Acid Blue 29 has been shown to cause changes in surface methodology when used as an electrochemical impedance agent.
