• Descrição: 6-Amino-5-bromo-1-methyluracil monohydrate (6ABMU) is a purine analogue that has been shown to be a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme uracil phosphoribosyltransferase, which is involved in the synthesis of uridine monophosphate. 6ABMU has been used for research purposes and can be administered orally or intravenously. This drug also has been shown to increase the production of propylamine, an intermediate in the metabolism of methylated purines.
