Descrição

2-Aminophenyl phenyl sulfone is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the transport of fatty acids across the cell membrane. This may be due to its activity as an antagonist at the receptor responsible for this action, or because it binds to calcium carbonate and changes the viscosity of the cell membrane. The derivative spectra show that it is an isomeric mixture with x-ray absorption, which means it can be used as a precursor for synthesizing other molecules. 2-Aminophenyl phenyl sulfone has been shown to inhibit eosinophil peroxidase in vitro, which could make it useful in treating infectious diseases such as malaria.
