H-D-Arg-NH2.2HCl is a synthetic drug that acts as a dopaminergic agonist. It binds to dopamine receptors in the brain and produces an effect similar to that of dopamine. H-D-Arg-NH2.2HCl has been shown to have antipsychotic effects and is used as an additive in animal models for schizophrenia studies, but it has also been implicated in episodes of hyperactivity and psychosis.
