Descrição

Azosemide is a diuretic drug that increases the excretion of water and electrolytes. It is used in the treatment of congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, and certain kidney diseases. Azosemide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits prostaglandin synthesis. It has been shown to have cardiac effects by increasing the incidence of ventricular arrhythmias in animals and humans when given intravenously. The pharmacodynamics and pharmacological properties of azosemide are not well understood, but it has been shown to be an effective treatment for congestive heart failure.
