Acridine Yellow G is a fluorescent dye that can be used for wastewater treatment. Acridine Yellow G binds to the DNA of viruses and other biological samples, which makes it an ideal candidate for use in a reaction intermediate, as well as in low-energy radiation. Acridine Yellow G has been shown to bind to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which may be useful in identifying cancer cells.
