3-Allyl-4-hydroxyacetophenone is an organometallic reagent that can be used as a catalyst for chemical reactions. It is a monoxide, which means it does not react with the substrate, but rather binds to the metal and stabilizes it. 3-Allyl-4-hydroxyacetophenone can be immobilized on various solid supports, such as palladium complexes and mesoporous silica gels.
