2-Aminothiophene-3-carboxamide is an organic solvent that inhibits acetylcholine production in the body. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and can be used as a prognostic factor for cancer. 2-Aminothiophene-3-carboxamide is synthesized from 3,5-diaminotoluene and 2-aminothiophene, which are both organic solvents. This drug also acts as an allosteric modulator at the adenosine A1 receptor, which is involved in the regulation of cellular chloride levels. 2-Aminothiophene-3-carboxamide has been shown to have synergistic effects with other drugs such as influenza or carcinoma cell lines.
