Acicerone is a natural product that is derived from the Astragalus species. Acicerone has been shown to be effective in treating photosensitized dermatitis in mice by reducing the production of reactive oxygen species. Acicerone has also been found to be an endemism of temperate regions, such as North America and Europe.
