Descrição

Ajugarin I is a diterpene compound that has shown to be an inhibitor of the enzyme polymerase chain. It is also a cox-2 inhibitory drug and has been found to have anti-inflammatory effects in chronic arthritis. Ajugarin I has also been found to have antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). The biological properties of Ajugarin I are not well known, but it has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities.
