It has been shown to be useful for the production of antireflection films with a low average particle diameter. Dimethylbis(propan-2-yloxy)silane has also been found to be an effective acid catalyst for uv radiation polymerization. This compound can be used as a patterning agent for the production of thin films of magnesium.
