Descrição:O,O-Diethyl thiophosphate potassium salt is used in wastewater treatment to remove organic pollutants and phosphorus. It reacts with the chloride ion present in wastewater to form the soluble phosphorous acid. The reaction is highly efficient and can be used with a wide range of wastewater compositions. The optimum reaction conditions are pH 6-8, temperature 50-60°C, and contact time 1-2 hours. O,O-Diethyl thiophosphate potassium salt can also be used as a pesticide for agricultural use and as an analytical method for the detection of pesticides in tissues samples or environmental exposure.
