Descrição:Benzoylnitromethane is a palladium complex that is used in organic synthesis. It can be synthesized by the acylation reaction of nitrobenzene and sodium methoxide in hydrochloric acid solution. The surface methodology has been used to determine the nucleophilic nature of benzoylnitromethane. The nmr spectra have shown that it contains a carbonyl group, which makes it reactive towards homologous proteins. Benzoylnitromethane has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects on cells cultured in vitro. This may be due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins and thromboxanes, which are mediators of inflammation.
