Informação sobre produto
- Bis-(4-Tert-Butylphenyl)-Iodonium Hexafluoroantimonate
Bis(4-tert-butylphenyl)iodonium hexafluoroantimonate is a highly selective photoinitiator for cationic polymerization. It undergoes an ionizing transition in the presence of radiation and anions, which leads to the formation of diaryliodonium. The diaryliodonium then reacts with cycloaliphatic epoxide monomers to form a cross-linked polymeric material. Bis(4-tert-butylphenyl)iodonium hexafluoroantimonate has been used as a photoinitiator for the synthesis of polymers that are used in coatings that protect metal surfaces from corrosion.
