Informação sobre produto
3-Bromofluoranthene is a halogenated hydrocarbon that has been shown to alter the biological activity of the murine sarcoma virus and 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid. 3-Bromofluoranthene is a byproduct of the combustion of fossil fuels, which it can be found in wastewater. 3-Bromofluoranthene is toxic to cells, but it does not bind to DNA. The binding constants for 3-bromofluoranthene with sephadex g-100 are lower than those for other halogenated hydrocarbons. Chronic exposure to this chemical may cause an increase in transfer reactions and protocatechuic acid, which may lead to genotoxic effects in CD1 mice.
