Descrição:
N-(5-Bromothiophen-2-yl)acetamide is a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer agent. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of colorectal cancer cells (CRC) in vitro and in vivo, as well as inhibiting the growth of E. coli and bladder cancer cells. N-(5-Bromothiophen-2-yl)acetamide inhibits the production of cholesterol in hypercholesterolemic animals, which may be due to its ability to inhibit intestinal escherichia coli. This drug also reduces bowel inflammation by inhibiting proinflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL6, thereby inhibiting inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
