Informação sobre produto
Tert-Butyl 7-oxa-3-azabicyclo[4.1.0]heptane-3-carboxylate is a modification of tert-butyl 7-oxa-3,8,9,10-tetrahydrobenzo[f]quinoline-3,7(6H)-dicarboxylate (TBA) that has been synthesized by the ring opening of a cyclic ester with an amine. TBA is a chiral molecule and this modification was carried out for the purpose of obtaining enantiomerically pure derivatives. The diastereomers were obtained in high yield and were found to be reproducible. The synthesis of TBA is also carried out using piperidine as a synthetic base. This compound shows pharmacophores that are similar to those found in natural products with antibacterial activity such as magnesein and epigallocatechin gallate.
