Informação sobre produto
2-Bromo-4-ethenylphenol is a synthetic monomer that belongs to the group of polycarbonates. It has been used as a crosslinking agent in the production of polyacrylates and polycarbonates. It has been shown to have maximal rate of evolution at 200 °C, with maximum values of 2.5 vol% at 250 °C and 3.8 vol% at 350 °C. 2-Bromo-4-ethenylphenol is volatile and can be detected by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis using a flame ionization detector or by pyrolysis mass spectrometry. This chemical has been shown to form compounds such as phenols, which are volatile, and phosphorous compounds, which are also volatile. Pyrolysis products may include compounds such as 2-bromoethanol or 2-bromopropanol when heated at lower temperatures (150-200 °C).
