Informação sobre produto
Bipyridine is a small organic molecule with a molecular weight of 102.1 g/mol. It has been shown to have proton-emission properties, which may be due to its ability to bind to cancer cells. Bipyridine has also been shown to bind well with many metal ions, such as copper and silver, and selectively binds with zinc, nickel, and palladium ions. This molecule has been studied using crystallography and X-ray diffraction techniques in suzuki coupling reactions. Photophysical studies of bipyridine have shown that it has a large Stokes shift, which makes it useful for electrochemical studies. The bipyridine ligand has also been used in the synthesis of diode materials with efficiencies up to 93%.
