It can be used as an amine scavenger to remove residual amines, which may lead to the formation of toxic compounds during polymerization. BPA can be applied as a functional group for fabricating polymers with desired properties such as high molecular weight, good solubility, and hydrophilicity. This product also has sulfonic acids that can be used in coatings for water and oil repellents.
