Informação sobre produto
Tert-Butyl N-(3-bromopropyl)carbamate is a bifunctional molecule that can be used as a radiotracer for positron emission tomography (PET). It is an analog of nitroimidazole, which is a cytotoxic agent that binds to DNA and RNA. Tert-Butyl N-(3-bromopropyl)carbamate has been shown to bind to the cell nuclei and cell membranes, which leads to the uptake of the drug by cells. This drug also has synergistic interactions with other drugs and exhibits anticancer activity. The linker group in tert-butyl N-(3-bromopropyl)carbamate allows it to be synthesized on a solid support via a 2-nitroimidazole. A dendron is then attached to the linker group, which increases its solubility in water, making it more suitable for biological applications.
